Manufacturers of Quality Park Model RV vacation homes, built in and for the Northwest. JEANNE PLANTE (Owner) A "Jill of All Trades," Jeanne hails from the State of Minnesota. At the age of 13, Jeanne and her family moved to Oregon in 1969. Jeanne met Bob McNeely in 1975, while working in the Portland area as a title clerk. Jeanne and Bob married in 1985 and have remained happily together ever since. Extremely detail oriented, Jeanne has proven herself essential to the day-to-day operations of the various McNeely family business enterprises. Examples of just some of the many differing "hats" Jeanne has worn since 1975 in the McNeely family businesses include processing permits, bookkeeping and computer applications. Jeanne has acquired a tremendous amount of "working education" as a result of her often complex dealings with various governmental agencies and bureaucracies. One such important skill Jeanne has learned is to "cut to the chase" when working on a project. Jeanne also takes great pride in her ability to clearly articulate (to the reader) whatever it is she is attempting to convey on paper. |

Although Jeanne is extremely outgoing and loves being in the presence of others, her "behind the scenes" efforts (along with being detail oriented) are where her skills are most in demand. Jeanne usually tends to the "finer" day-to-day details of the family operations, while Bob remains in charge of the "overall picture," including the major portions of their projects. Jeanne is a genuine "trooper" who rolls with the punches. On any given morning she may not even know for certain where her "office" is going to be that day. In other words, Bob and Jeanne's day may begin at Whaleshead Beach Resort (located near Brookings, Oregon, and also owned by the McNeely family) and end up at Mountain Resort at Hyatt Lake (yet another resort owned by the McNeely family - this one located up in the mountains above Ashland, Oregon). Fortunately Jeanne has a very reliable motor home, cell phone, and state-of-the-art laptop computer with wireless internet. Despite the fact that Jeanne is often en route from one family owned business to the next (leaving her little time for herself) she never fails to make either her resort guests or Nor'Wester customers feel welcome and at home. Jeanne has a very warm smile, and is never too busy to respond to a customer's questions or concerns. Throughout her busy day Jeanne also never stops taking care of the couple's two "babies." Bob and Jeanne's two dogs travel everywhere with them! An avid animal lover since she was very young, Jeanne dearly loves her two dogs and three horses. The couple's animals also provide Jeanne with an avenue of escape after a hard day's work. Indeed, hard work is not unfamiliar to Bob and Jeanne. Since they are together 24 hours a day, they have a great working relationship. That great working relationship proves invaluable to each of the family businesses - businesses which are very diversified, yet so very rewarding to Jeanne. When asked for her "two cents worth" regarding Nor'Wester park model RVs, Jeanne responded: These are the only ones that appreciate in value." "Lots of resorts should want them as rental cabins." Fortunately, Jeanne's relentless efforts have in fact made it possible for Nor'Wester Industries to be able to fulfill this very demand of resorts. In the process of doing so, however, Jeanne has never lost sight of Nor'Wester's objective of providing the very highest quality of hand crafted park models to its customers. Jeanne is indeed walking proof of the fact that every component of Nor'Wester's operations is based upon "Quality without Question."
